What is “hash”?
Hash (or hashish) is a potent form of cannabis produced by collecting and compressing the resin, specifically trichomes, from the flowers of the marijuana plant. Trichomes are the ripe, resinous gland heads that line the surface of cannabis plants and are known to be the most potent material of the plant. Hash usually contains around 40% THC.
Hash is easy to store, transport, and enjoy. It is usually smoked in pipes, joints, vapes, or mixed in with cannabis flowers or even tobacco. Some users like to incorporate it into their cooking and/or edibles. For some cannabis lovers, the rich aromatic scent and taste make hash a unique treat!
The most common effects of hash and cannabis are a sense of well-being, relaxation, rapid flow of ideas, increased appreciation of music and food, heightened senses, sleepiness, pain relief, nausea relief, and increased appetite.
